Financial Controller

Required Skills:

• Over 5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills and data interpretation abilities
• Experience with invoice management, overdue payments, and financial reconciliations
• Hands-on approach to month-end close processes
• Familiarity with QuickBooks is highly desirable; Paylocity payroll experience is a plus
• Ability to follow up diligently and manage financial systems effectively

Nice to Have Skills:

• Small business or entrepreneurial experience
• Knowledge of international trading or stock exchange operations
• Experience working closely with a UK-based finance team

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA not required but additional certifications are a plus
• Proven track record in small to mid-sized organizations
