Job Title: Interim Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Central London – 5 days on-site

The Opportunity

We’re partnering with a prestigious luxury hotel group in Central London to hire an experienced Interim Accounts Payable Specialist to support the finance team during a busy period. This is a hands-on role requiring strong attention to detail, excellent stakeholder management, and confidence working in a fast-paced, operational setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process supplier invoices accurately and to agreed timelines
  • 2-way / 3-way matching (where applicable)
  • Ensure correct coding (supplier, department, cost centre, nominal ledger, period)
  • Resolve blocked/parked/rejected invoices and discrepancies
  • Support purchase order controls and chase missing PO/GRN documentation
  • Assist with supplier payment runs and payment query resolution
  • Maintain supplier accounts and complete statement reconciliations
  • Support month-end close (accruals support, GRNI reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations)
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and support audit requests
  • Contribute to continuous improvement across AP processes and controls

Skills & Experience Required

  • 2+ years’ experience in Accounts Payable / Procure-to-Pay
  • High-volume invoice processing experience
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of PO processes, invoice matching, reconciliations and payments
  • Experience with finance systems such as SUN, ADACO or similar ERPs (desirable)
  • Strong communication skills and confidence liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Hospitality/hotel experience is beneficial (but not essential)

Working Pattern

  • Full-time, Monday–Friday
  • On-site in Central London
