Interim Financial Accountant

Required Skills:

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualification or equivalent
• Fluent in both French and English, written and spoken
• Minimum 1+ years post-qualified experience in a relevant industry
• Strong expertise in financial accounting and month-end close procedures
• Proven ability to prepare journals and conduct balance sheet reconciliations
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of key areas within the month-end close process
• Prepare and post month-end journals, including accruals and prepayments
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
• Support the preparation of management accounts and financial reports
• Assist with intercompany accounting and reconciliations
• Review financial data for accuracy and completeness
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to resolve queries
• Support year-end audit and statutory reporting activities
• Identify opportunities to enhance finance processes and controls
• Contribute to the wider finance team during the contract duration

Additional Skills:

• Experience within SaaS, technology, or international business environments
• Familiarity with financial systems and automation tools
• Knowledge of French business regulations and standards

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Relevant accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• Over 1 year of post-qualified industry experience
• Proven track record in a fast-growing, international organization
