International Financial Controller (Permanent) — Corporate Finance (Media)

Global Networks is supporting a leading organisation in the media sector to hire an International Financial Controller for a high-impact, hands-on role within Corporate Finance. Based at Chiswick Park, London (Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm), you’ll take ownership of controllership activities across a diverse set of international entities, ensuring reporting obligations are met at both local and group level—while continuously improving processes to be more streamlined, efficient, and fit for purpose.

Reporting to the Senior Director – Finance Media, you’ll play a key role across internal controls, budgeting, and supporting the annual group audit process, with two direct reports.

Required Skills

• Proven capability in a hands-on controllership role with end-to-end ownership of finance activities
• Strong experience delivering local and group reporting requirements accurately and on time
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate and improve finance processes—making them efficient, streamlined, and scalable
• Solid understanding and practical application of internal controls
• Experience contributing to budgeting cycles and supporting business planning
• Track record of supporting and coordinating elements of the annual audit process
• Confident communicator with the ability to work across multiple international stakeholders and entities

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience supporting finance operations across multiple international regions/entities
• Prior exposure to a media environment or corporate finance function supporting commercial entities
