About the Role
The Group Corporate Business Partner role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the financial success of both the corporate head office and a growing distribution business. This pivotal position combines robust financial reporting with high-impact business partnering, providing critical insights to senior stakeholders. With end-to-end ownership of the Group G&A and head-office finance function, this role ensures accurate month-end close processes, budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management. Additionally, the Group Corporate Business Partner will play a key role in supporting the growth of the company's distribution arm, delivering insightful analysis on movie performance, KPIs, and profitability. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional to make a tangible impact in a dynamic and evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and submit monthly financial control and FP&A packs with clear insights, variance analysis, and performance commentary.
Provide high-quality business partnering to senior stakeholders, delivering actionable financial insights to drive performance.
Lead the preparation of short-term cashflow forecasts, including analysis of trends and liquidity management.
Ensure compliance with group accounting policies, controls, and governance requirements.
Own the budgeting and forecasting processes for both the corporate head office and the distribution business, ensuring robust assumptions and alignment with strategic objectives.
Deliver ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, cost-saving projects, and performance improvement programmes.
Drive process improvements and automation across reporting, forecasting, and analysis to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Take full ownership of the month-end close process for the corporate head office, ensuring accuracy and alignment with group timelines.
Required Skills and Experience
Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA professional.
Proven experience managing end-to-end month-end close processes with high accuracy and ownership.
Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management.
Demonstrated ability to act as a trusted finance business partner, providing insightful analysis to senior stakeholders.
Experience delivering commercial, insight-led analysis for a growth-focused business unit.
Proven ability to identify opportunities for value creation, efficiency improvement, and cost optimisation.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
Experience in driving process improvements, including automation and strengthening financial controls.
Desirable: Experience working in a multi-site or group environment.
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in PowerPoint and modern reporting systems.
