About the Role

The Senior Financial Accountant position is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a strong background in accounting and finance. The Senior Financial Accountant will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day accounting functions for the company’s Italian entities, including service companies and multiple SPVs. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the general ledger for Italian SPVs, including booking accounts payable and receivable, reconciling banks and supplier accounts, and preparing monthly accruals.
  • Maintain accurate intercompany balances, ensuring monthly reconciliations and control over loan agreements and repayments.
  • Oversee tax compliance requirements such as filing monthly VAT reports (LiPe), quarterly VAT declarations, and managing WHT reports, F24 submissions, and tax property payments (IMU).
  • Support annual financial statements, bank reporting, and other local compliance needs.
  • Manage cash flow and payments for Italian SPVs.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of professional experience in accounting, preferably within accounting studios or multi-company environments.
  • Intermediate proficiency in English and fluency in Italian.
  • Knowledge of IAS/IFRS and Italian GAAP is mandatory.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
