About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant - Revenue to join this dynamic and forward-thinking organisation. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting within the data centre business. The Management Accountant - Revenue will play a key role in maintaining the order backlog, managing Account Manager commissions, and ensuring compliance with IFRS standards. This position offers the chance to work closely with the Commercial Finance Director and contribute to the company's financial success. Key Responsibilities

  • Ownership of revenue and gross margin reporting for all data centre locations, ensuring the general ledger accurately reflects recurring and one-off monthly revenues and direct costs.
  • Management of accrued and deferred income, including balance sheet reconciliation for all revenue-related accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS standards and support statutory accounting processes.
  • Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and annual financial statements, liaising with external auditors and supporting the audit process.
  • Calculate Account Manager commissions, advise the Financial Controller of monthly payments, and track future commissions for release to the Profit and Loss Account.
  • Maintain and report on the order backlog, including new sales, renewals, and deliveries on a weekly basis.

Required Skills and Experience

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.
  • Proven experience in management accounting, preferably within the infrastructure or technology sectors.
  • Strong proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
